Can a friend from Europe whos visiting California travel to Mexico?

So my friend from europe(France), is coming to visit me this summer. I live in California, would it be possible(legal) for my friend to travel with me(on car) to mexico(for a day)?????

not without the proper papework. to find out more go the us state dep for travel info. contact them as well
you could have them stuck in mexico. call the feds first.
do a search on mexico visa, and see if there is any limitations on EU personal visit visas. If there anr not any, then he/she should be able to cross the border with out any problems. But google will provide you the correct answer.
Well, I’m not positive, but pretty sure with a passport, they are fine.
Ok, let’s see your friend from France is coming here to the USA mmmmm I guess he will come here as a tourist he will have an I-94 form (it will be stapled on his passport) with a 6 months expiration limit.
US and France citizens do not need a visa to visit Mexico your friend just need his passport and you (I assume you are US citizen) just need your driver license.
But when you come back to the USA your friend will have to show his I-94 with his passport to go back to California.
French citizens do not need visas for Mexico. He will need his passport only. You will need either US passport, or driver’s license and birth certificate.
