you just need your mexican passport, you can get it from you local mexican consulado

I’d guess you need a Mexican passport–not a US passport. Since you’re trying to get into Mexico, they’re going to want proof that you’re a Mexican citizen.

Only U.S. citizens can get a U.S. passport.

wait. What citizen are u US or Mexico or both?
since u are NOW a US citizen u have to have a US passport to go to Mexico.
Just like my grandfather he was born in Ecuador but he is a US citizen and he has to have his US passport 2 go 2 Ecuador.

Someone gave you bad advice. You need your Mexican passport. If you don’t have one, the Mexican Consulate can help you. Here is a listing of the ones in the USA:
